Pendli Subhodayam Tiffin

Light and traditional breakfast served on the wedding morning. Usually includes idli, dosa, upma, pesarattu, chutneys, sambar, kesari, and filter coffee or tea.

Kanyadaanam Bhojanam

A sattvic meal served just after the Kanyadaanam ritual. The meal is simple, without garlic or onions, featuring items like plain rice, dal, vegetable curry, pappu, and payasam.

Muhurtham Bhojanam

A grand vegetarian feast served after the Muhurtham (main wedding ceremony). Includes Andhra favorites like pulihora (tamarind rice), vegetable biryani, vankaya curry, pappu, majjiga pulusu, and multiple varieties of sweets like bobbatlu, poornalu, and laddu.

Edurukolu Bhojanam

Feast hosted by the bride’s family to welcome the groom’s family during the Edurukolu ceremony. It’s often festive and elaborate with both spicy and sweet delicacies.

Pellikuthuru Tiffin

Served during the Pellikuthuru ceremony (similar to haldi), this tiffin includes light breakfast items like rava upma, pongal, or puri with kurma, along with sweet dishes.

Reception Dinner

An evening buffet or seated meal during the reception. This often includes a mix of Telugu, North Indian, and Indo-Chinese dishes—paneer curries, fried rice, roti, sweets, and desserts like gulab jamun or ice cream.

Thamboolam Snacks & Sweets Counter

During the Thamboolam (farewell or gifting ceremony), there’s often a counter or parcel table with assorted sweets and snacks like murukulu, ariselu, laddus, and kaja for guests to take home.

Sashtipoorthi / Gruhapravesam Meals

Traditional meals served during housewarming or milestone rituals, usually satvik and simple, reflecting the spiritual nature of the occasion.
